This season of my life is all about minding the business that pays me! Often, we get distracted by what others are doing, wrapped up in their posts, mesmerized by their productivity that we lose sight of our goals and purpose. Do not fall victim to comparisons and counting other people’s coins. Know that you are doing exactly what you are meant to be at this time in your life. Perhaps, someone is looking at you, inspired and thinking what they can do to go harder. But it also true that others may emulate your art and pass it off for theirs. Oscar Wilde said it best, “Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery that mediocrity can pay to greatness.” Focus on your goals, eyes on the prize, and continue to be true to you!
